My New Kitchen is Awesome – We contracted with New Creations to completely redo our kitchen. We moved a wall and took out the old cabinets and installed incredibly beautiful new ones. It was like working with a blank slate and I guess it was since it was all white sheet rock.

Julia Laughlin, the designer that used to be with New Creations walked us through the entire process. She helped us find the tile and sea glass for the back splash, the beautiful green granite for the center island and overall held our hands and kept us from making design mistakes. She has an amazing eye and we thank here for the incredible design.

The electrical work done by Cox Electric was stellar and the plumbing done by Blue Dog Plumbing was equally as good. We also had a project manager, Joshua, who paid attention to every detail and was here everyday do make sure everything was done to specs. Troy works in the office and is basically the person who gets everything ordered and delivered and schedules the subs.He is amazingly thorough and organized and really is the glue behind the company.

I must say that I was most impressed by Greg Olsen of OG Cabinets. It is hard to believe that a flat CAD drawing can turn into something so beautiful. The cabinets are beyond my wildest expectation and Greg was a joy to work with.

The work was done and usable after about 8 weeks which is the time frame we were given. We had several items on the punch list which dragged on for a few more weeks, but weren't keeping us from moving things back in.

Even though redoing a kitchen is a huge undertaking, we enjoyed most every minute of the process because the subs and Joshua and Troy are such good people to work with.

If there is one negative, it is that the contract specifies certain items and it was very hard to know what those items were since we are not builders. Because of that, we had several change orders and extra charges that could have been avoided. On the other hand, Roy was very fair in letting us change the cabinets to the ones we got because we did not understand what the contract specified.

All in all I would certainly recommend New Creations and tell anyone I know to just come look at my kitchen as proof.

We are EXTREMELY happy with the work done by New Creations on our kitchen. Our experience started with Design where Erin worked with us in every aspect of the design and never complained or rushed us when we changed our minds. She accompanied us on all of the supplier visits and was instrumental in us being so happy with the final results. She also staid engaged throughout the project. The Construction phase went just as well. The quality of the workmanship was top notch. No mater how much mess was made, they cleaned up the job site EVERY DAY. The team was always checking in to make sure we were happy with what we saw and it was obvious that they really cared about us, our kitchen and making sure we had a great experience. Roy send us an email with an progress update and next steps almost everyday, this in addition to maintaining a complete project list and calendar online that we could review and made our own comments. A couple of time we wanted to make changes in the design after the project was underway and while this is never optimum, Roy and his team went above and beyond to make sure that this process exceeded our expectations. The level of communication, customer focus and quality of the project were outstanding. If you want the best that Austin has to offer in custom Kitchens. I have NO hesitation in recommending New Creations.

Love My New Kitchen! – I love my kitchen! Roy and New Creations remodeled our kitchen last spring. Even though it has been several months, I still find myself just staring at it in awe.

Working with New Creations was such an easy process. I have heard countless horror stories about remodel nightmares, and this was nothing like that. Everyone was professional and pleasant to have in our home. Roy was wonderfully honest with us as we went through the design process and I always felt like he had our best interest in mind. I would recommend New Creations whole heatedly and am looking forward to working with them on our master bath someday soon.

Our home was built in 1982. The primary purpose of our project was to completely remodel the kitchen to create a brighter more functional space and update all the appliances. A makeover of the adjacent dining room was also planned.

We have been through several small remodeling projects during 27 years in our home and neither of us relished the idea of trying to find suitable contractors or acting as project managers and on-site supervisors again.

New Creations Custom Kitchen and Bath solved that problem for us. We were impressed before our very first meeting when Roy Faust called us to say he would be ten minutes late and “would that be alright?”

New Creations is a high end custom remodeling company offering “turn key” kitchen and bath remodeling services. Their goal is to provide outstanding service and craftsmanship. They didn’t over sell, they did what they promised.

From the design process through tear down and construction, everyone involved with the project was professional and considerate of the fact they were working in our home. Since we live with twelve indoor only cats, that was of special importance to us.

In fact, being “cat resistant” was a major design concern for our kitchen. Roy spent a lot of time learning about our lifestyle as part of his design process. Unlike some designers, he does not try to force his vision on you, but rather tries to pull your ideas out and help you make the decisions.

He is not afraid to suggest bold ideas and if he doesn’t like something, he will tell you. He makes the design process collaborative and fun and is not afraid to consult with another designer to make something perfect.

A highly detailed approach to planning the project with the goal of having all materials on hand prior to starting is an important part of the company’s success. Taking that approach minimizes the risk of delay and allows the customer to see the chosen products before they are installed.

An on-site meeting with all contractors several weeks prior to the planned start date allowed us to meet each of them in person and gave them a chance to evaluate the workspace.

That meeting revealed we would need to upgrade our electric service for the cooktop and convection oven we planned to install and allowed plenty of time to have the work done prior to the project start date.

We were informed there would inevitably be problems along the way, but for us not to worry, they would solve the problems. Again, that is exactly what they did.

New Creations constantly tries to improve their process. Project manager, Troy Hester, was continually on site seeking solutions to every problem and soliciting our input.

The on line system used to schedule contractors and keep customers informed works well and Troy quickly responded to every email inquiry or phone call we made.

We can’t say enough about the craftsmen working for New Creations. Their focus was always on delivering a quality product and satisfying the customer. Compromises sometimes must be made because original house construction is rarely perfect. In fact, I’m not sure there is a square or plumb wall in our house!

However, through it all, Roy, Troy and everyone involved in our project went out of their way to make sure we were happy with the results. Working with New Creations was a marvelous experience. We would recommend them without hesitation. The completed kitchen is even better then we imagined it would be.

New Creations Review - Outstanding! – What sets New Creations apart from their competition? The journey, the guidance and the final product all made possible by a professional team and a great group of sub-contractors.

The Journey: I’m not sure anyone really goes into a remodeling absolutely knowing every detail of how they want their kitchen to be transformed. The New Creations Team has a design center that really helps you get started and everyone from the New Creations Team to the sub-contractors will help you with suggestions along the way. No one really wants their kitchen demolished either. I think New Creations needs to come up with a new term for this part of the process because we never felt like our kitchen was demolished… just removed. When we came home on day one, our old kitchen (appliances, sheet rock, everything) was gone. I mean totally removed from the property and the work Site was very clean. This is the way it was every day of the process. In many ways, the only way we knew sub-contractors had been in our house was the progress made on the remodeling.

For us, another critical part of the journey was understanding how the project would unfold. While they were proactive in keeping us informed, you can always contact one of the New Creations Team members by phone or email (and they are quick to respond). They also link you into the project planning process through web-based Basecamp. This lets you see what is being planned each day. Your inputs are captured as actions and assigned to members of their Team. Any issue that came up was addressed in a timely fashion.

When I reflect back on the remodeling process, it really is a journey that includes a few changes in direction. I found that when we did want to add or change from the original plan, New Creations was very professional. If we did deviate from the original contract, New Creations was very quick to get us a quote and worked to keep the project on schedule.

The other critical element of the journey is will they complete your kitchen when they say they will. New Creations committed they would be complete in 8 weeks. At the end of 6 weeks, all that was left to be done was minor touch-up. The attention to detail was outstanding. The New Creations Team picked up on several small items we missed and had them corrected.

The Sub-contractors: New Creations has done an excellent job of picking the sub-contractors they work with. The most impressive of which was the cabinet, granite and sheetrock/painter subs. The cabinets are stunning, the granite was laid out with the grain structure exactly the way we had envisioned and the paint/texturing matched our existing walls perfectly. We also really appreciated the crew that did the demolition and clean-up to get the project started on the right foot.

The Final Product: All of the above doesn’t matter if you are not happy with the final product. I think we can honestly say that New Creations worked with us to produce a kitchen that actually exceeded our expectations.

Remodeling is really a Team effort between you and the Contractor you choose. You need to make many decisions and actively participate along the way to make it a success. The Contractor needs to make the experience and final product what you envisioned it to be. We found the Team at New Creations to be excellent Team members that helped us realize the kitchen of our dreams. Roy, Troy and Jeremy all have strengths that complement each other… a special thanks to all of you!

groovy granite – We have had a lot of work done on our home of 25 years. Working with New Creations was the best experience I have had so far. Roy was straightforward and very in to making sure we were completely satisfied. Even monthes later. He gave me a notebook to walk me thru the process of redoing my kitchen and it kept me in the loop of every detail. I love, love, love, my groovy kitchen. Even the teenage boys notice it.

New Creations stands behind their work. I recommended them to my parents who had the same wonderful and dependable experience that I had.

We began our search for a firm to remodel our kitchen/guest bathroom in December 2011.  We first met with Roy Faust of New Creations in January 2012 and signed a contract with them in May 2012.  Work started on May 13 and we did a final walk through with Roy on July 3.  We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend New Creations.   Roy worked very closely with us to get the design right and invested a considerably amount of his time with us before we formally committed to the project.  Once we got started Troy managed the project and hit virtually project milestone as scheduled.  Troy was very easy to work with and was very responsive to any questions or concerns we raised throughout the project.   Roy and Troy make an excellent team.  Trust and integrity were very important to us in selecting a firm to work with.  New Creations exceeded our expectations and we genuinely liked working with them.  We would also be remiss in not thanking Apollo for his attention to detail and the quality of his work.  Also, James had many great ideas that we wouldn't have thought of as far as electrical and lighting.  Manuel, head of the painting crew, was very quick and professional, even when we changed paint colors on him.

Even after our final walk-through,  Roy, Troy, Apollo and crew have been great. A few touch ups needed to be done after they finished, and they never hesitated in getting someone out here.  We have been in our kitchen for a about 6 weeks now and love it.

New creations is great at communicating with the client. I think 80% of issues are solved with communication.  New Creations does that better than any other service company I have dealt with. They explain details, provide a compete estimate. and then communicate the schedule on line so you know who will be at the house and when they will install various items.  Everyone we dealt with were complete professionals, listened to what we wanted and worked hard to provide us a beautiful custom kitchen and bath.

We are very happy with the work provided and will likely use them again for a master bath remodel.

My kitchen is awesome! – It has been 3 years since my remodel and I am as happy with the work as I was the day it was complete. The crew was professional and curtious. When they worked, they did their best not to interupt our lives. Not to mention, the work was done quickly and the craftmanship was stellar.

Use New Creations to invest in your home. You will love them and your new space!

Committed to customer service & satisfaction - highly recommend! – Roy, Troy & their team exceeded our expectations, from start to finish! Beginning with our initial meetings to get our estimate and carrying through the entire project, Roy and his team were a pleasure to work with. They continuously strived to ensure we were 100% satisfied with every detail. The New Creations team was trustworthy - which was essential for our kitchen remodel, given that there was no way my husband or I could be present at all times. The quality of the workmanship provided by Greg and Appolo was superior. To top it off, Troy and team always ensured our kitchen was cleaned up at the end of each day. Our project was completed on time and ultimately with less disruption than we anticipated for this type of project. We couldn't be happier! Thank you New Creations for giving us our dream kitchen at an affordable price!

Awesome Bathroom Remodeling Job – We selected New Creations to completely remodel our guest bathroom and they did a fantastic job. The project involved a complete demolition of the bathroom down to the studs and slab, replacement of sheetrock and ceiling, installing a new larger bathtub and shower, moving of the tub and toiler drains (involving jackhammering new holes in the slab, installing Travertine tile on the floor and in the tub and shower area, installing a new toilet, installing a Silestone countertop, new sink and sink hardware, installing a new can light and over the sink light, "un-popcorning" the ceiling, and painting. Throughout the process, New Creations kept us constantly updated on the schedule and progress with their online Bootcamp project system, they were extremely courteous and sensitive to all our needs and concerns, they kept the areas of the house adjacent to the work area immaculately, and they were fanatical about making sure that everything was done to perfection. The cost was reasonable and came in exactly as quoted. Finally, you simply won't find a nicer group of people to work with - Roy and Jeremy (the project manager) are two of the most genuinely decent people we have had the privilege to work with.

After receiving countless compliments on our kitchen remodel (more like total overhaul), we called Roy and Troy about our tiny but disastrous hall guest bathroom. I knew this gem of a company had picked up quite a bit of business in recent months; however, I received the same level of diligence and attention on this much smaller project. My guest bathroom was completely transformed. This former afterthought in my home is now one of its best looking features. Everything NC touches turns to gold, and it is my pleasure to recommend them AGAIN!

FULL Service Kitchen and Bath Contractors – My wife and I just finished a full blown "complete gut" custom remodel on our condo kitchen and master bath located in Tarrytown. The title says it all...these guys are a FULL service contractor and will do design, help you select materials, make color/pattern recommendations, write fixed bid quotes, manage subcontractors, and warrant the finished product. We are now enjoying the end result and get compliments on the remodel every time someone comes to the house. If we decided to sell the condo tomorrow, I think we would get back every penny spent.

Before you sign a thing, Roy will provide a detailed quotation and plans. I was relieved to get to the end of the project and owe exactly what was agreed to. We bid out the project and asked around and typically contractors don't have the ability to draw up detailed plans so you have to hire an architect for even the simplest cabinet design, which can be pricey. Not the case with New Creations.

This was the first time I went through a process like this and I have to say that while it was painful to live in a house with no kitchen and master bath, it was well worth the wait. With all the great compliments, there are some pain points that is characteristic of any remodel from what I hear. In some cases, attention to detail was overlooked in the design phase and the team had to make modifications on the fly. I would have liked to see those details worked out ahead of time. All I can say is ask tons of questions and review work often. If you see something that doesn't look right, speak up. That goes for any contractor.

Roy has built quite a system with New Creations and he has some great people working for him...Jeremy, you are the man. Would definitely recommend them and use them again on the next project.

Kitchen is now a piece of artwork! – We had an awesome experience with Roy and his team re-doing our kitchen. We had been wanting to install granite for sometime, but didn't find the right company until we met Roy at New Creations. We had talked to other companies before, but no one did complete projects so inclusive as Roy undertakes. He was very personable and came over several times to measure, re-measure, and explain the process. His expertise covers many areas and he helped us greatly in choosing the granite/backspash and consulting of the design of it. We got so excited about the unfolding of it all, and had so much fun doing it, that we kept expanding the project. Roy just kept up with the expanding plan and offered his assistance each step of the way. His prices are very fair and at the end of it all, our kitchen is now a piece of artwork. During the week of installation, Roy and his team were terrific, professional, exceptionally skilled craftsman, and each one cared very much about all the details. We would highly recommend them anytime and would use them again for any future remodels!

Best Kitchen/Bath Remodel in Austin – No need to look any further.

We hired Roy and New Creations in September to remodel our kitchen and bath. They were efficient, responsible, and professional, but most importantly...they did what they said they would do.

We were provided with a line item estimate and the final cost was not a penny more. Great attention was given to every detail while each and every one of our concerns were addressed along the way. They have a design center with hundreds of tiles, countertops, etc. to choose from with professional advice along the way. They will bring samples to your home so you can get an idea of what the finished product will look like.

At one point, we had received some back splash tile for the kitchen from a supplier that didn't quite line up right. Roy immediately removed the tile, re-ordered from the supplier, and re-installed it. That is the type of support I can live with. Please know that if anything is not done to your satisfaction, New Creations will do it over until you are satisfied.

Attention is given to every detail of the project.

One other feature New Creations provides is a calendar of events for your project. You can log on to their website and see what work is scheduled for each day.

We would certainly hire them again and probably will for some other remodeling projects we have planned.

Bottom line here is New Creations will do it right. They will not nickel and dime you to death like some contractors and you will have peace of mind knowing your finished product be exactly as you envisioned it.

Troy Hester should be applauded for not only representing the company well overall, but for his time and effort to keep the customer informed of plans for the week, inclusive of delays of materials and services. Troy exhibited true professionalism and strong communication skills throughout the entire multi-month experience. Roy Faust represented the company with enthusiasm, skill, and professionalism as well. Hats off to New Creations!

We love our new kitchen and bathroom – New Creations completely remodeled our kitchen and bathroom this summer. It was no small job as plumbing, electrical and duct work had to be completely rerouted. The job was so major that it even required reframing part of the house between the upstairs and downstairs and relocating a drain in the bathroom. Wow, we didn’t even know things like this were possible.

Roy and his designer worked with us until we everything was perfect. With their experience they had the coolest ideas you could ever imagine. We went with all natural products and we now have the most beautiful kitchen and bathroom you have ever seen.

Everyone on Roy’s team meticulous and professional. They really cared about making us happy throughout the entire process.

We highly recommend Roy and his team at New Creations for any kitchen or bathroom job you may have. They have the necessary people and experience to handle any job no matter how large or small.

6-Star Remodel Experience – Each associate of New Creations, from the ower Roy, with partners Troy and Greg, to the construction crew Polo and his helper Juan, truly cares about doing the best job possible and making the experience pleasant. They hire the best electricians, painters, plumbers, appliance installers in the business and coordinate their schedules so you don't have to worry about a thing. As a matter of fact, Roy's favoriate expression to me was "Don't worry...that's what you're paying me for." And with Roy Faust you get your money's worth. Not only would I recommend him to anyone looking to remodel, I'm recommending him to my MOTHER!
