Kitchen Renovation Project – Austin, Texas – Spicewood at Bullcreek

Kitchen Renovation Project Overview

A client approached us to discuss a kitchen renovation project. Their lovely home resides in the Spicewood at Bullcreek neighborhood in the northwest Austin, Texas area. Although they love their home, they knew that a simple kitchen remodel would transform their house into the home they always wanted.

They desired the warm and home-like vibe that only open room interiors provide. So, they planned on removing the wall between the kitchen and dining area to open their house up.

Also, they wanted to brighten up the kitchen, upgrade the appliances, and improve the overall functionality. After all, they love cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Custom Cabinetry

These custom-built kitchen cabinets spotlight Tiger’s Eye Cherry Wood that shows a beautiful grain pattern. Exciting features include the frosted-glass doors on either side of the sink and handy lift-up cabinet doors throughout the room. The white quartz countertops show well against the Cherry wood finish.

We built the cabinets around the double oven and fridge to maintain a clean, built-in look. Of course, we added plenty of pantry storage and made sure to plan the countertop workspace optimally.

The custom-built blue finished island provides the focal point of the room. The beautiful blue finish will surely impress with its unique aesthetic.

Cabinet features include LED lighting under the top cabinets, under-cabinet lighting below, and handy pull-out drawers for the trashcan, spices, and kitchenware.

Appliances and Other Features

The lighting of the room improved substantially – the result the several can lights we installed. They come equipped with a dimmable light-switch allows you to set the mood.

We opted for stainless steel appliances throughout the kitchen providing a consistent look — the stainless steel pairs well with the maple Cherry Wood cabinetry and white quartz countertops. The clear glass-tiled backspash complements the countertops and porcelain flooring as well.

Kitchen Renovation Project Summary

The outcome of this kitchen renovation project delighted our clients. Their family’s kitchen, dining area, and living room now form a single, warm and open place to enjoy with guests. Moreover, the kitchen provides a comfortable and efficient space for cooking. Not to mention, they have a beautiful kitchen that will inspire for years to come.
