After receiving countless compliments on our kitchen remodel, we called Roy and Troy about our tiny but disastrous hall guest bathroom. I knew this gem of a company had picked up quite a bit of business. In recent months; however, I received the same level of diligence and attention on this much smaller project. My guest bathroom was completely transformed. This former afterthought in my house is now one of the best looking features. Everything NC touches turns to gold, and it is my pleasure to recommend them AGAIN!

Beautiful Craftsmanship – New Creations recently completed our extensive kitchen remodel. In addition to of the typical kitchen remodel tasks, the entire existing space was demolished, gas lines and electricity were moved. We had a couple of walls changed to accommodate our Laundry room and pantry design. The result is beautiful with a great sense of craftsmanship.

The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of our experience with New Creations is just how great everyone is to work with. Not only are they friendly and accommodating, never once was one of our requests met with eye rolling or hesitation. Just sure, we can do that.

The cabinet maker, Greg Olson, is great. A super nice guy who can build anything that can be laid out in CAD. We worked with him and New Creations’ designer Julia Laughlin extensively during the planning stages where we decided the location of everything, the silverware, spice rack, pantry, garbage bins, etc… We meticulously made these decisions, Greg would show us the official CAD drawings, we’d make changes, and eventually sign off on said Drawings. The day the cabinets came in and were set up was extremely exciting. We walked around opening all of the cabinet doors and drawers. Everything was identical to the CAD drawings.

No project is without it’s hiccups and we experienced a few along the way. Mostly due to our remodel taking place over the Christmas holiday and the fact that our initial Field Manager was let go, leaving a slightly disorganized period of time in the middle. Once the logistics of this were worked out, New Creations quickly regrouped and the project was back on track and finished off strong and to our liking. This did, however, cause us a bit of stress, but I believe that this was an isolated situation and that it is unlikely that their future customers will have any issues in this area.

Other people who we were extremely impressed with were: Apollo, who did all of the tile work and most of the random things that needed to be completed. Troy, who handled scheduling and organization. Julia, the designer as mentioned above. The electrician, whose name escapes me was very detailed. Of course Roy, the founder of New Creations who is very sincere and will not take anything less than his client’s complete satisfaction. The folks at Summit Stoneworks were also great. I’m sure I’m missing a few other people, but again all were wonderful.

I certainly would use New Creations again in the future.

Customer Service with Excitement – Many companies can do the job but when I spend my hard earned money I want quality work and unyielding customer service. I acquired several bids ranging from Home Depot to older established kitchen remodeling companies. I found Roy to be the most attentive and interested in our specific job.

Roy sincerely got excited when we talked about our kitchen. He first listened and then offered his experienced and talented opinions to help us make the best possible decision about the materials and design for our kitchen. We had several visits at Roy’s showroom where we tossed around many design ideas until we pin pointed the one for us. I feel like Roy treated our remodel as if it were a fifty or sixty thousand dollar job. But actually ours was a quite small job relatively. This is why we chose Roy at New Creations.

Roy remained excited throughout the job and was always easy to contact. The work stayed on schedule from tear out to finish. My wife and I met and talked with everyone of the laborers as they performed their various tasks and were impressed each time. Roy has selected quality folks to represent New Creations.

Weather you have a total kitchen remodel or a partial like we did (granite counter top with travertine back splash) I feel confident in recommending Roy and his crew at New Creations’. And I think you will enjoy the excitement Roy has for providing the best customer experience possible.

Well run Kitchen Remodeling Project! – New Creations captured our kitchen remodeling business because they offered the whole package … from design inception through installation, with a key focus on customer satisfaction. Roy Faust, New Creations owner, lives and breathes his commitment to his customers, and it permeates throughout his team. We enjoyed being an integral part of the kitchen upgrade design process, making key selections of cabinet styles/wood/finish, backsplash tile, inserts, and hardware in the New Creations’ design center. One of the most rewarding parts of the design process was selecting the granite slabs at Pacific Shores and meeting with New Creations designer, Julia, and Summit Stoneworks manager, Sam, to jointly layout the pattern of the kitchen countertops on the actual granite slabs. Our New Creations project was managed with an online project scheduling tool that was very useful, and any detailed information requests were responded to promptly by phone and email.

As with many home construction projects, we had a couple of issues pop up. Roy and his team (with special note to his project manager, Troy) were professional and responsive. Issues were resolved in a timely fashion and the focus on making us happy with our project was always at the top of their list.

Also worthy of note, is that there were several subcontractors used on our project that were true artisans. We were particularly impressed with Summit Stoneworks, who effortlessly put final touches and edges on the granite during the install to make it fit perfectly. Additionally, Greg Olson and his team did a wonderful job of working with us to design, construct and install a beautiful, new family room media cabinet. Impressive workmanship!

There are always ways to improve a team, and in this case I would recommend having the project manager get involved earlier. It would be beneficial to have the project manager start engaging during the tail-end of the design process, so that there is no gap in the flow of information from the design process to the installation phase of the project. Additionally, we had a gap in our schedule between demolition of our kitchen to the start of the construction phase, so I would recommend “tightening up” the schedule to eliminate this inconvenience to the customer.

We are very happy with our beautifully remodeled kitchen, and would recommend New Creations to anyone interested in a well-run home remodeling project!

Best Kitchen/Bath Remodel in Austin – No need to look any further.

We hired Roy and New Creations in September to remodel our kitchen and bath. They were efficient, responsible, and professional, but most importantly...they did what they said they would do.

We were provided with a line item estimate and the final cost was not a penny more. Great attention was given to every detail while each and every one of our concerns were addressed along the way. They have a design center with hundreds of tiles, countertops, etc. to choose from with professional advice along the way. They will bring samples to your home so you can get an idea of what the finished product will look like.

At one point, we had received some back splash tile for the kitchen from a supplier that didn't quite line up right. Roy immediately removed the tile, re-ordered from the supplier, and re-installed it. That is the type of support I can live with. Please know that if anything is not done to your satisfaction, New Creations will do it over until you are satisfied.

Attention is given to every detail of the project.

One other feature New Creations provides is a calendar of events for your project. You can log on to their website and see what work is scheduled for each day.

We would certainly hire them again and probably will for some other remodeling projects we have planned.

Bottom line here is New Creations will do it right. They will not nickel and dime you to death like some contractors and you will have peace of mind knowing your finished product be exactly as you envisioned it.

I used New Creations for a kitchen remodel 2 years ago. Roy was great about helping me through the process of choosing granite and tiles to suit my style. He kept everything within my budget but always gave me options for upgrades if I wanted them.

His team was very professional and my home was always cleaned up at the end of the day. The job was finished in a timely manner and follow-up was excellent. I was so pleased that I have now signed on with New Creations to have my master bath updated.

My master bath remodel is now completed and once again New Creations came through and gave me the bath I've always dreamed of. Even though the remodel took place around the holidays, schedules were kept and there was minimal disruption of daily life. Roy and his team helped choose exactly the tile combinations I had in my mind and also gave me good suggestions on ways to compliment my choices. Tile work by Apollo and his assistant was wonderful, the vanities that Greg created are awesome and everything was done with little disturbance or mess. All the New Creations employees are professional, pleasant and easy to work with. Thanks again to New Creations for the bath they created for me!

Kitchen - Beautiful and Functional! – I Love My Kitchen!

We met Roy and some of his team members at the last home and garden show in August and decided to let him come over and provide us some ideas as to what we could do with our kitchen. We purchased our 17-year old home in 2008 and knew at that time that it needed renovating. The cabinets were ‘golden oak’, 30 inches tall with white laminate counter top covering every available spot. Additionally, the original appliances were still in use!

Roy was much attuned to our schedule and made several evening appointments to meet with us. His suggestions of installing under-counter lights and ceiling can lights (to replace the three fluorescent fixtures – which for some odd reason, I really wanted to keep…), were initially met with resistance, but we folded…

After meeting with Julia and Roy at the design center, we decided on a red mahogany finish over knotty alder cabinets. Julia creatively designed a ‘furniture’ piece of cabinetry and enlarged the island to accompany the shape of the kitchen. I provided design specifications of the appliances I selected to Greg and his team perfectly sized all areas to fit like a glove. Larry, the plumber, and James, the electrician were pleasant and very professional. Trevor, Josh and Troy were always on top of the schedule.

From the time we met with Roy and Julia at the design center, the cabinets and appliances were ripped out and new cabinets and counters were installed, to the final touchups, we were looking at approximately 2 ½ months. This was primarily due to the glass I selected which turned out to not be available locally and had to be special ordered.

The professionalism, courteousness and sensitivity to customer needs of the New Creations team are second to none. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a remodeling effort.

P.S. The can lights we were so hesitant to have installed – we wouldn’t have them any other way!

Roy and Troy of New Creations provided a total demo and remodel of our kitchen, including exterior wall work. We changed a door/bay window into a sliding door, took down upper cabinets to open the kitchen to the family room, and widened doorways. All new custom cherry cabinets and soapstone countertops. New electrical box in garage and outside, new lighting and electrical plugs/switches. New Creations was the general contractor and planned everything out and assisted with the general design and features.

The entire remodel took 8 weeks. During that time the space was always kept clean and tidy. The space they used in our garage for various items was always clean and well organized. Every subcontractor they brought in was professional, polite, punctual, and answered all my questions with a good attitude. They had all done work for New Creations before and knew their expectations for a clean and professional job. Troy was always checking the work and making sure things were done as close to perfect as possible. If something was off, he would have the contractor come back in and change/fix it until it was what we wanted. Those were all very minor issues. Apollo, their tile guy, is amazing and really takes pride in his work. The online scheduling software they use, BaseCamp, really helps you understand what's scheduled for each day, who will be there, what outstanding questions there were or materials left to be chosen. Nothing was ever forgotten or accidentally left off the list. Roy and Troy always responded to emails and calls promptly and always had a positive attitude. They let me see 2 jobs they had completed (and speak to the homeowners) and one job that was nearing completion. It really helped me feel confident and trust that they would do a great job with our kitchen - and they did! We love our new kitchen!

So thankful that I selected New Creations – I wanted my kitchen remodeled and I was willing to buy the pre-fabricated cabinets, find someone to tear out my kitchen and be the boss on my own job. What a nightmare that would have been. I received a couple of estimates from remodelers and one of them took 3 weeks to get back to me with a figure. Neither one of those guys was willing to coordinate any other sub-contractors like plumbers, electricians or any specialty job that needed to be done. So I would have been on my own. A friend of mine highly recommended Roy Faust and New Creations. His quote on my job came in about four thousand more than the other two quotes, but I would be getting CUSTOM CABINETS and someone who knew sub-contractors and someone who would coordinate all of them. I signed up pretty quickly with Roy. He gave me names and phone numbers of clients that he had worked for, he took me to one of his clients' houses to see the work and either he or his assistant, Leah, called me almost every day to let me know what was going on. Roy has his own crew that does most of the work, but he knows and has contacts of people that he has used before and he knows that he can trust their work and most importantly their word. If he feels that they are not accomplishing the best job possible, he lets them go. He just will not put up with it. The plumber that he had hired had been good in past jobs, but on my job the plumber was not following directions. And I was present when Roy was giving instructions, so I know what was supposed to be done. Roy got the job done correctly and I never had to deal with the plumber, nor did I have to pay anything extra for the corrections. All I had to do was have the confidence in Roy and his crew to get the job done right. I never once got upset about ANYTHING, I never had to. The cabinet maker, Scott, is an artist and all contacts that I had with anyone was a pleasure. And my kitchen? A dream come true. Marsha Krueger

Excellent experience with Roy and Troy as we did our first ever complete kitchen renovation. Very well organized process for seeing us from start to finish with the project. Very experienced team that handled everything, even small hiccups, with professionalism and a focus on getting things done the right way. Always available to discuss alternatives in the structural design and help to come up with the best solution. Very flexible in accepting our interior design choices as we consulted with our own interior designer. Very happy with the results - a larger, beautiful, and very functional kitchen!

New Creations Custom Kitchen Remodeling – The recent remodel of our kitchen was a refreshing experience. Roy Faust and his team are extremely talented and knowledgeable in their fields. Roy or his associate Luis communicated with us every step of the way, and even stopped by during construction phases. All of the men that were in our home were nothing but extremely respectful to myself (and all my questions, ) my two small children (who sat and watched the entire process,) and to my home. After the work was done, there were a few small tweaks that needed to be made. Although my husband and I had been completely impressed by the work ethic to that point, we were blown away that final payment would not be accepted until the kitchen was 100% finished, to our satisfaction. We love our kitchen, and will recommend New Creations to anyone who is interested in a kitchen remodel.

My kitchen is awesome! – It has been 3 years since my remodel and I am as happy with the work as I was the day it was complete. The crew was professional and curtious. When they worked, they did their best not to interupt our lives. Not to mention, the work was done quickly and the craftmanship was stellar.

Use New Creations to invest in your home. You will love them and your new space!

Amazing Kitchen Remodeling from a Highly Ethical Company – In 2008 we fully remodeled our kitchen with New Creations and earlier this year our two bathrooms were completely redone with fantastic results. Working with Roy on the design details and Troy at the project site was very enjoyable and even when issues arose they ALWAYS worked to resolve them with the customers best interests in mind. Both the kitchen and the bathrooms are unique, customized to our needs, impressive in quality, and will significantly increase our houses value. Thanks again to New Creations for the great work you do.

Our home was built in 1982. The primary purpose of our project was to completely remodel the kitchen to create a brighter more functional space and update all the appliances. A makeover of the adjacent dining room was also planned.

We have been through several small remodeling projects during 27 years in our home and neither of us relished the idea of trying to find suitable contractors or acting as project managers and on-site supervisors again.

New Creations Custom Kitchen and Bath solved that problem for us. We were impressed before our very first meeting when Roy Faust called us to say he would be ten minutes late and “would that be alright?”

New Creations is a high end custom remodeling company offering “turn key” kitchen and bath remodeling services. Their goal is to provide outstanding service and craftsmanship. They didn’t over sell, they did what they promised.

From the design process through tear down and construction, everyone involved with the project was professional and considerate of the fact they were working in our home. Since we live with twelve indoor only cats, that was of special importance to us.

In fact, being “cat resistant” was a major design concern for our kitchen. Roy spent a lot of time learning about our lifestyle as part of his design process. Unlike some designers, he does not try to force his vision on you, but rather tries to pull your ideas out and help you make the decisions.

He is not afraid to suggest bold ideas and if he doesn’t like something, he will tell you. He makes the design process collaborative and fun and is not afraid to consult with another designer to make something perfect.

A highly detailed approach to planning the project with the goal of having all materials on hand prior to starting is an important part of the company’s success. Taking that approach minimizes the risk of delay and allows the customer to see the chosen products before they are installed.

An on-site meeting with all contractors several weeks prior to the planned start date allowed us to meet each of them in person and gave them a chance to evaluate the workspace.

That meeting revealed we would need to upgrade our electric service for the cooktop and convection oven we planned to install and allowed plenty of time to have the work done prior to the project start date.

We were informed there would inevitably be problems along the way, but for us not to worry, they would solve the problems. Again, that is exactly what they did.

New Creations constantly tries to improve their process. Project manager, Troy Hester, was continually on site seeking solutions to every problem and soliciting our input.

The on line system used to schedule contractors and keep customers informed works well and Troy quickly responded to every email inquiry or phone call we made.

We can’t say enough about the craftsmen working for New Creations. Their focus was always on delivering a quality product and satisfying the customer. Compromises sometimes must be made because original house construction is rarely perfect. In fact, I’m not sure there is a square or plumb wall in our house!

However, through it all, Roy, Troy and everyone involved in our project went out of their way to make sure we were happy with the results. Working with New Creations was a marvelous experience. We would recommend them without hesitation. The completed kitchen is even better then we imagined it would be.

Roy Faust and his team at New Creations have excelled in delivering outstanding results in quality, project management, and customer satisfaction through three significant home renovation projects. I am a very particular and detail oriented customer who has approached each project with a definite and unique vision that represents my home and me. Roy and the team respected my input and helped refine the project to make my vision a reality. I feel fortunate to have found New Creations for my renovations: they employ a great team of subcontractors, suppliers, artisans, and specialists (including furniture builders and suppliers who deal with out of the ordinary materials and finishes), which, along with a combination of design and technical knowledge, ensures that my vision can be brought to life.

Roy and the team treated me as a participant in the projects; they listened to my concerns and included me in all aspects of the planning. I felt that they approached my renovations as partners, not just as doing a job; they were as invested in a successful outcome as I was. In any renovation project unforeseen issues occur. When problems did arise Roy and the team provided creative solutions, drawing on their design and technical expertise to maintain the integrity of the project. In lesser hands, the design quality would have been compromised.

New Creations manages projects effectively, maximizing the use of materials, time, and labor to ensure the minimum level of disruption possible during a large renovation. They stand behind their work, are reliable, professional, and honest. I highly value the true team performance from the New Creations crew with respect to coordination, expertise, and process. I am in the process of designing future projects and can’t imagine trusting any one else to deliver the unique designs, reflecting who I am, other than Roy and the New Creations team. Would I recommend New Creations? Yes, with no reservations!

Very Professional – We had Roy and his team install a new granite counter in our kitchen, new island, new sink & backsplash and also a granite counter and sinks in our master bath. Roy coordinated all of the work and everyone was on-time and professional. They kept the place clean during their work and made sure everything looked right before they left. Job was completed quickly - especially after hearing stories about other contractors. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again and have already recommended them to others.
