We worked with New Creations to do a complete kitchen remodel, and a refresh of a laundry room and powder room. We are very pleased not only with the results, but the entire process from design to completion.
Roy is the business owner and handles the sales and design aspects of projects. Roy is a very honest person and was always up front and forthcoming about what options would cost. He also is very good at planning a job to make sure everything runs smoothly. On the project design, Roy was always very enthusiastic and was a pleasure to work with. He was able to understand our vision of what we wanted and use his expertise to make it better than we ever could have done on our own. He was always working on new ideas, whether it was dropping off new tile samples that he was excited about, or sweating the details on the perfect paint colors. We appreciated the personal attention and passion that Roy put into our project.
Troy is the project manager and is responsible for the construction, schedule, and quality of the job. We couldn't have asked for a better person to work with than Troy. He was always on top of every single detail, and it was clear that he took the schedule and job quality very seriously. Whenever we would ask him a question or give feedback, he would always make sure to take care of it; I can't think of a single time when Troy forgot something that I had talked to him about. Troy is a very nice person who knows how to get things done on time with a level of quality that he would expect in his own house.
Our job came in on time and on budget. Everyone we worked with was professional and friendly. The results were everything we wanted, and for a job this big it ran very smoothly. We will definitely be working with New Creations on our next remodeling project.Read More
We recently remodeled our master bathroom with New Creations, with Roy and Troy, and could not be happier with the outcome. As nervous newcomers to remodeling, I found Roy's straight-forward-tell-it-how-it-is style very refreshing. I was also pleasantly surprised and relieved that Roy did not try to "sell" additional things/services, but rather functioned as a guide and shared his experience with us if he thought it would benefit us in making a decision. Roy was extremely patient with our questions and concerns.
Troy managed the project with patience and grace, waited for inspectors, treated our home and our family with tremendous respect, listened carefully to any comments we had to make and took care of things in our home that weren't even part of our contract--he just offered to help!
Not sure you will find a better duo of honest, hard-working men to make your vision suddenly appear in your home. Can't wait for my next project to put them back to work. Highly recommended!Read More
Professional and Attentive – Ours was the largest project undertaken by New Creations as of 1/10. We gutted our Master Bedroom, bath and closets, kitchen, laundry room, garage entry and Jack and Jill Bathroom. They were all being done at the same time! This could have been a scheduling nightmare, but Troy seemed to handle it in stride.
Julia was more than successful fitting in all that we wanted in the space we had. We could not be more pleased with the design. Our house feels completely new!
The entire crew, Roy, Julia, Troy, Joshua, Apollo and Juan were very easy to work with. Roy holds each person to a very high standard of professionalism. Even the demo guys were clean and pleasant.
We love our new kitchen! The design is perfect and the quality is very evident. Like most projects we had some hitches, but they were easily worked through.
I can say the entire process was so much less "painful" than I anticipated. I credit the team with their attention to detail, attention to what I was saying, and professional attitudes toward their work product. I can recommend New Creations.Read More
I'm in love with my NEW kitchen!!! – It's amazing what a little change can do, that makes a big difference. My kitchen cabinets were ugly, outdated and needed a change. So, I searched around for a couple of companies that did cabinet refacing and had them come out and give me a quote, but there was no comparison to New Creations. Roy Faust and his team are great to work with, I could really tell he loves what he does by his enthusiasm and knowledge. My whole experience was amazing and I can't wait to have them put in a new back splash, new tile around the fireplace and downstairs floor. I'm madly in love with my new kitchen. Thank you New Creations....you guys are awesome!!!!Read More
I had always wanted to convert a large island in my kitchen to make part of it into a bar while leaving the other half at counter height. After seeing the fantastic work that New Creations did on a friend's bathroom re-model, I contacted Roy for a bid and eventually decided to go with them for the project. Troy did a great job managing every detail of the project, and their carpenter did an absolutely fantastic job with the cabinet work. Troy ran all around town finding tile to match the slate that was already down in my kitchen, and they were also able to find a great match for my granite counter tops. The completed job looks exactly the way I had envisioned it; New Creations did a great job every step of the way. I highly recommend them.Read More
Great Remodel Experience, Again! – This is my 2nd review of New Creations. I left a review on 3/13/08 under the nameRead More
New Creations is the Complete Package – Remodeling our kitchen and powder room was a big decision and a big investment.
We chose New Creations because they were friendly, low-pressure, and responsive from the start. We had several meetings with Roy, met all the contractors, heard their ideas, received an estimate, visited the showroom, and visited a kitchen they renovated before we even signed any agreement with them!
It was intimidating to choose all the elements for our new kitchen, but New Creations made it easy. They didn’t have a designer at the time, but Roy shared his experience and knowledge of emerging trends in the industry. It was helpful to see working models in the showroom and have large samples (2’ x 2’) of cabinet types and paint colors available. Taking my chosen samples home with me to move around the space and see at different times of the day with the changing natural light made the selection easier. And later, after the cabinets and counters were installed, when I began to doubt my wall paint selection, Troy cheerfully delivered all the neutral samples that I requested (perhaps 20 or more?) to view again.
Throughout, Troy did a wonderful job of choreographing the different contractors and communicating with us. In addition to regular email updates, we were able to log-in to see what activities were scheduled and read the communication with the contractors. With 2 full-time work schedules, a toddler, and a dog to plan around, it was very important that we knew what to expect each day.
All the contractors were respectful of our home and seemed to understand that we were still living there from demolition to completion. They kept the mess contained and tidied up before leaving each day. They were also very collaborative. We met with each contractor at least twice during the planning stages and communicated several times while the project was in full-swing. They answered all our questions, put us at ease, offered suggestions, and were responsive to any concerns that we had. Winston, James, Larry, Lisa, and Manuel (and their crews) are all very professional and friendly. They seemed very knowledgeable in their areas and as concerned as we were to create a space that would meet our family’s needs.
Roy prepared us in advance to expect hiccups so we weren’t completely surprised when some did occur. What was reassuring, however, was that someone from the team always responded to our phone calls (even when they were later in the evening!), they offered professional solutions, and never appeared to be put-out.
New Creations was thorough and honest. In our final walk through with Roy, he pointed out small imperfections that we hadn’t noticed and he identified a feature which we had paid for, but hadn’t received. He made sure that this was remedied within the week. In the end, it was another example of their attention to detail and pride in their work.
At first, we were surprised by the estimated costs to remodel our kitchen. But 8 months later (9 weeks of construction) - after seeing the amount of coordination, the number of professional individual contributors, and the quality of the materials involved - we are delighted with the results and feel that it was well worth the investment.
To clarify: I hesitated to give a 5-star rating out of 5 since I don't believe anything is perfect. However, my experience was better than "very good." They exemplify customer service and I can confidently say to anyone who is looking for a complete kitchen remodeling company, "Run, don't walk to New Creations!"Read More
kitchen remodel – Both Roy and Troy were excellent communicators and very customer friendly. Our options were clearly presented with great advise every step of the way. Our kitchen turned out even better than we imagined. The price was fair, the job was completed on time, and best of all, there were no surprises. I highly recommend New Creations and we plan to use them again for our bathroom remodel.Read More
At Last, An Honest Remodeler!! – I first met Roy Faust at the Home and Garden Show in the fall of 2007. What made me go with his company was his total passion and enthusiasm for what he does. He is totally "in to" remodeling kitchens and giving 1000% customer service. No matter what the problem he was there to solve it and frequently at his own time and expense. I am thoroughly pleased with my new kitchen and would highly recommend Roy to anyone who wants a quality company and ethical, honest people with which to entrust their home and hard-earned money. If he ever starts to remodel other rooms in the house I will definitely be calling him.Read More
So thankful that I selected New Creations – I wanted my kitchen remodeled and I was willing to buy the pre-fabricated cabinets, find someone to tear out my kitchen and be the boss on my own job. What a nightmare that would have been. I received a couple of estimates from remodelers and one of them took 3 weeks to get back to me with a figure. Neither one of those guys was willing to coordinate any other sub-contractors like plumbers, electricians or any specialty job that needed to be done. So I would have been on my own. A friend of mine highly recommended Roy Faust and New Creations. His quote on my job came in about four thousand more than the other two quotes, but I would be getting CUSTOM CABINETS and someone who knew sub-contractors and someone who would coordinate all of them. I signed up pretty quickly with Roy. He gave me names and phone numbers of clients that he had worked for, he took me to one of his clients' houses to see the work and either he or his assistant, Leah, called me almost every day to let me know what was going on. Roy has his own crew that does most of the work, but he knows and has contacts of people that he has used before and he knows that he can trust their work and most importantly their word. If he feels that they are not accomplishing the best job possible, he lets them go. He just will not put up with it. The plumber that he had hired had been good in past jobs, but on my job the plumber was not following directions. And I was present when Roy was giving instructions, so I know what was supposed to be done. Roy got the job done correctly and I never had to deal with the plumber, nor did I have to pay anything extra for the corrections. All I had to do was have the confidence in Roy and his crew to get the job done right. I never once got upset about ANYTHING, I never had to. The cabinet maker, Scott, is an artist and all contacts that I had with anyone was a pleasure. And my kitchen? A dream come true. Marsha KruegerRead More
facelift for my old kitchen – I would recommend New Creations to anyone looking to understand all the options when facing a kitchen remodel. The design center was unique in that Roy could create a mock up with the finishes I had chosen- this was great for a person who debates endlessly between options and is not entirely confident in her ability to picture the finished product from a sample tile. New Creations really seperated themselves from other contractors I have used while remodeling with their superb degree of creativity, communication, and customer service. Our old kitchen looks better than I had dreamed at almost half of the quote I had recieved from a nationwide company. Thanks to Roy, Troy and the guys who have worked so hard to do the job they promised!Read More
My wife and I have been very pleased to have worked with New Creations on a significant remodeling project on our planned retirement home and would recommend Roy and his associated personnel to anyone. We decided to tackle not only the full remodel of a large kitchen, but also 3 full baths as well as a den and a utility room all at the same time. The scope was large and design details could have been lost, but a focused approach by New Creation's designer Erin on each aspect of the remodel kept us on track and delivered on some great ideas.
New Creations made effective use of electronic communications which allowed for easy transmittal of concepts that were able to be discussed and integrated into design iterations. Later on during the build the online scheduling program as well as emails kept us abreast of work progress and made communicating simple.
The demolition started as planned, work progressed in a timely manner and the project was completed on budget. The subcontractors Roy utilizes have been with him for awhile and are excellent. They all paid attention to details, delivered a high quality of workmanship, kept the work place clean and were very pleasant to work with. All in all, our experience with New Creations and Roy's team was very positive, we enjoyed the process and highly recommend him. M&J LongRead More
Our home was built in 1982. The primary purpose of our project was to completely remodel the kitchen to create a brighter more functional space and update all the appliances. A makeover of the adjacent dining room was also planned.
We have been through several small remodeling projects during 27 years in our home and neither of us relished the idea of trying to find suitable contractors or acting as project managers and on-site supervisors again.
New Creations Custom Kitchen and Bath solved that problem for us. We were impressed before our very first meeting when Roy Faust called us to say he would be ten minutes late and “would that be alright?”
New Creations is a high end custom remodeling company offering “turn key” kitchen and bath remodeling services. Their goal is to provide outstanding service and craftsmanship. They didn’t over sell, they did what they promised.
From the design process through tear down and construction, everyone involved with the project was professional and considerate of the fact they were working in our home. Since we live with twelve indoor only cats, that was of special importance to us.
In fact, being “cat resistant” was a major design concern for our kitchen. Roy spent a lot of time learning about our lifestyle as part of his design process. Unlike some designers, he does not try to force his vision on you, but rather tries to pull your ideas out and help you make the decisions.
He is not afraid to suggest bold ideas and if he doesn’t like something, he will tell you. He makes the design process collaborative and fun and is not afraid to consult with another designer to make something perfect.
A highly detailed approach to planning the project with the goal of having all materials on hand prior to starting is an important part of the company’s success. Taking that approach minimizes the risk of delay and allows the customer to see the chosen products before they are installed.
An on-site meeting with all contractors several weeks prior to the planned start date allowed us to meet each of them in person and gave them a chance to evaluate the workspace.
That meeting revealed we would need to upgrade our electric service for the cooktop and convection oven we planned to install and allowed plenty of time to have the work done prior to the project start date.
We were informed there would inevitably be problems along the way, but for us not to worry, they would solve the problems. Again, that is exactly what they did.
New Creations constantly tries to improve their process. Project manager, Troy Hester, was continually on site seeking solutions to every problem and soliciting our input.
The on line system used to schedule contractors and keep customers informed works well and Troy quickly responded to every email inquiry or phone call we made.
We can’t say enough about the craftsmen working for New Creations. Their focus was always on delivering a quality product and satisfying the customer. Compromises sometimes must be made because original house construction is rarely perfect. In fact, I’m not sure there is a square or plumb wall in our house!
However, through it all, Roy, Troy and everyone involved in our project went out of their way to make sure we were happy with the results. Working with New Creations was a marvelous experience. We would recommend them without hesitation. The completed kitchen is even better then we imagined it would be.Read More
